Like many veterinarians, Dr. Katherine Bellamy developed a passion for helping animals at a young age. She grew up helping injured wildlife and tending to her family pets. Dr. Bellamy completed her doctorate in veterinary medicine from the University of Illinois in Champaign in 1988.
Dr. Katherine Bellamy spent many happy years practicing in Evanston, Illinois, and volunteering through Evanston Animal Shelter. She especially values the human-animal bond and finds fulfillment in addressing all of clients’ concerns and questions. Dr. Bellamy is particularly interested in geriatric medicine, feline medicine, and getting to know her clients and their pets. Dr. Bellamy is a member of American Veterinary Medical Association, American Animal Hospital Association, Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association, and Chicago Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Katherine Bellamy enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and her mixed-breed dog, Harper. When they aren’t hiking or camping, the Bellamy family is relaxing at home with their 6 wonderful cats and talented parakeet.
